Chieu Hoang Loft is a rare space that harmonizes feminine softness with historical depth. Inspired by Ly Chieu Hoang — the only female monarch to ever rule Dai Viet — the room serves as a metaphor for transition: between power and surrender, tradition and modernity, earth and sky.
Designed as an open-plan loft, the space embraces natural light and gentle breezes that flow through delicate layers of sheer curtains. The interior features dark wood, handwoven rattan, and tastefully restrained metallic accents — all selected to highlight an atmosphere of grace, lightness, and quiet strength.
The central bed is placed like a small stage in the heart of the room — a place to rest and reflect. Candle-shaped bedside lamps, a writing desk by the window, and a few celadon-glazed ceramic pieces act as time-worn fragments, blending nostalgia with contemporary aesthetics. Beneath the loft, a small, secluded lounge area invites quiet moments — for tea, reading, or simply listening to the stillness.
The en suite bathroom combines traditional patterned cement tiles with a modern rain shower, evoking the feeling of stepping into a private bath chamber of an old royal residence — where elegance is expressed through the language of simplicity.
